Script Renewal Requests
Script renewal fee: R220
Script requests have a 24-hour turnaround after form submission. Requests made late on Fridays and over the weekend will be processed the next working day. New patients require a consultation before any prescription is issued
Please note: Requests are handled at designated admin times — not during consultations. Please request medication in advance; last-dose or out-of-stock requests will not be prioritised. Chronic scripts are at the doctor’s discretion. New symptoms or medication changes require a consultation.

In general, the medical practitioners at A7 Health Fourways (formerly 247 Medical & Dental Centre) accept most of the well known medical aids (and not the medical insurance). Different rules apply for different medical aids and different practitioners (for example, the GPs take most medical aid plans on Discovery, but are not yet on the Smart Plan or Key Care Networks, whereas the Dentists accept both Smart Plan and Key Care). For the avoidance of doubt, please call us in advance of your appointment and enquire about your specific medical aid and medical aid plan.
