Psychologist in Fourways | Mbali Feliti

A Safe Space to Understand, Heal and Grow

I’m Mbali, a registered Counselling Psychologist with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology (UJ) and a Master of Arts in Community-Based Counselling Psychology from (Wits). I believe that healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach is collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every person’s story deserves curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based care.

I work with adults, couples, families, and young people navigating life’s complexities.

I provide therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, identity and life transitions, stress, and the emotional impact of chronic medical conditions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I aim to create a space where you can show up authentically without fear of judgment. In addition, I facilitate workshops and corporate wellness initiatives focused on resilience and psychological wellbeing.

At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change begins when people feel safe, supported, and understood. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you with empathy, clinical expertise, and practical tools to support lasting growth.

How We Work Together: FAQs

What can I expect from my first session?

We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re experiencing, and what you’d like to work towards. This helps us understand your needs and create a plan that feels right for you.

No. Everyone’s experiences are different. I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, strengths, and circumstances, using evidence-based approaches

You can talk about anything affecting your emotional wellbeing, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationships, grief, burnout, life changes, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

There’s no set timeframe. Some people benefit from short-term support, while others prefer longer-term therapy. We’ll regularly review your progress and what you need.

This depends on your needs and goals. We’ll discuss what feels appropriate for you and adjust the frequency as your needs change.

Absolutely. Therapy can also help you better understand yourself, build resilience, improve relationships, navigate life transitions, and work towards personal growth.

Yes. Your privacy is important, and what you share in therapy is treated as confidential, within the professional and ethical guidelines that apply to psychological practice. Any limits to confidentiality will be explained to you clearly.

That’s completely normal. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out. The first session is an opportunity to talk, ask questions, and see if therapy feels like the right fit for you.
